The Scientific Society “Micro&Nano” was
created in 2004 by the Network MMN with the following
objectives:
- To promote Micro and Nanotechnologies in Greece (Science,
Materials, Technologies (including nonobiotechnologies),
Electronic Devices, Circuits and Systems)
- To promote research and applications in the above fields
- To promote education and training
- To gather together researchers from different disciplines
and to support the inter-disciplinary approach of the field
- To help to enlarge collaboration between research centers,
universities and industry
- To represent Greece in European and International
organizations, meetings, Fora etc related with Micro and
nanotechnologies
- To undertake studies in the field of Micro and
Nanotechnologies
- To organize national and international Conferences,
seminars, lectures and talks in Micro and Nanotechnologies
- To promote the exchange of information between the members
of the Society and between the society and other
organizations in Greece and abroad
- To carry out funded projects related to Micro and
nanotechnology activities and create mechanisms of promotion
of research and technology result
- To promote spread of knowledge in the society
