HOW to get to NCSR “Demokritos” from the center of Athens (Syntagma Square)
A. By metro and bus.
Take the metro from Syntagma – line 3 (direction Airport). Your station is Nomismatokopio (exit : Kondylaki Str.).
Next to Metro station is the bus stop. Take the bus "406" or “B5” to NCSR Demokritos (station 4th Aghias Paraskevis).
Duration: approximately 30 minutes
B. By taxi.
Take a taxi straight to the gate of Demokritos.
Duration: Approximately 40 minutes depending on the traffic.
Cost: 15-20 Euro.
Receipt: According to the Greek Legislation, taxi drivers should provide upon request a receipt for the amount paid for transportation services. The receipt should also indicate the taxi registration number and the driver's name.
