The present version of the programs is written in FORTRAN 77. The reason for this is mainly because of portability, and because the g77 compiler is free of charge and exists on every LINUX distribution.
The programs use blas,lapack, and fxdr libraries, information can be found in www.netlib.org. The sourse is availiable in this package but you can get big improvement in performance if you use the native blas and lapack for workstations and use libraries from the atlas project (netlib) for linux machines.
