Third International Workshop on Multianalyte Biosensing Devices
Athens, 18-19 September 2008
Introduction
The first workshop of this series was held in Athens, Greece, on April 13-14, 2000, (Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Volume 17, Number 4, April 2002 , pp. vii-viii) whereas the second one in Tarragona, Spain, on February 18-20, 2004 http://www.etseq.urv.es/dinamic/ congres/. The workshop focuses on multianalyte structures including biosensors, biochips and associated bioanalytical microsystems. The Third International Workshop on Multianalyte Biosensing Devices (Athens September 18-19, 2008) will bring together leading authorities and invited speakers to discuss new developments in the multidetector bio-devices with varying applications. Particularly relevant are crosscutting enabling technologies from the microelectronics, optoelectronics, microsystems and lab-on-a-chip areas including novel signal transduction mechanisms, packaging issues, microfluidics as well as readout electronics.
