| NCSR "Demokritos" is situated at the foot of Hymettus, the limits of the Municipality of Agia Paraskevi, 12km. north of Athens. The center's facilities occupy 600 acres of pine forest. Access by public transport By subway and bus Take the subway line 3 and get off at station "Nomismatokopio". Here you board the bus B5 (output Kondilaki), 407 or 406* (exit Messoghion) towards Agia Paraskevi. Get off at 4th Agia Paraskevi Stop and you are just a few meters from the main entrance of the Centre. *From 16/06 to 14/01 every Friday the bus 407 do not pass by this stop due to street market. You should alight at 4th Nea Zoi Stop and walk to the entrance of NCSR "Demokritos" (~ 15 minutes) By Suburban and bus Take the suburban train (station "Neratziotissa") towards the Airport. Get off at station "Doukissis Plakentias". Take the bus 407 (see above). Access through the Attica Road Take the Attica Road towards the airport. Head towards the exit 13 (Periferiaki Imitou).
